Convening Forums
The Aspen International Mountain Foundation (AIMF) has convened national and international forums to address issues that affect mountain communities.
The organization has worked to organize various planned functions for the International Year of the Mountain and has supported scheduled programs initiated internationally, working to adapt programs for the local community.
AIMF hosted a forum in Aspen, Colorado during the summer of 2002 that focused on the value of women's efforts in promoting sustainable mountain communities.
